Pool Party

Well….summer is in full effect now.  Unfortunately it will probably be over way to soon!  Cooper and I went to our first day at the pool yesterday!  He absolutely LOVED the water.  He splashed and kicked and layed back in his float like he was an old pro.  Looks like we’re gonna have a little water baby on our hands, which is a good thing considering how much his parents love to be near the ocean and any other body of water!  Auntie Tessa invited us over to her pool and took pics of us while going in for the first time!  And Auntie Julie was with us in the water the whole time soaking up the fun!  Dad missed the first pool party, but will be there next weekend for the second round.

Clinton’s day of summer fun was out with the boys down at the US Open surf competition in Surf City (AKA….Huntington Beach).  We always make a yearly trip down there to check out all the pros do their thing.  This year, I opted out thinking Coop was a little young for all the hoopla that occurs in the OC.

No big plans for the rest of the summer….no BIG vacation planned this year.  We’ll be heading back to NC/VA for one of my girlfriend’s (YAY for Melinda and Adam) wedding at the end of September.  This will be the first chance for everyone back home to meet the Coopster!  If you are around the weekend of Sept. 29-October 2 you can catch Cooper at Nana and Bop’s house on his first overnight stay without mom and dad.
