US Open of Surf
It’s that time of year again for the only pro surfing stop on the ASP tour down in Huntington Beach, CA (ASP = Association of Surfing Professionals in case you didn’t know). Every year we make our pilgrimage down to Huntington to check out all the chaos, soak up some rays, and check out the best surfers in the game throwing down!
Local boy Brett Simpson won again this year (back to back champ) defeating Jordy Smith in the final. We had a pretty sweet view of the action from our TransWorld VIP seating (big shout out to Nathan Winston for hooking that up).
The rest of the day was spent eating tacos, shopping, and soaking up the rays! here is a pic of us from the VIP booth – hope summer is treating everyone else as good as it’s treating us!
